Schooner Ernestina is transiting across Buzzards Bay and through Quicks' Hole this afternoon with 17 Elderhostelers aboard in the midst of a six-day program that will finish in New Bedford on Saturday morning at 8am, June 3rd.

The chart image shows the Ernestina moving SSEly (orange track, red ship) into Vineyard Sound. You can see Martha's Vineyard in the lower right of the image.

Earlier in the track in mid-Buzzards Bay you can see the maneuvering for a 'Man-Overboard Drill'

The ship will turn and reach up through the Sound toward the northeast to dock tonight at Tisbury Wharf courtesy of Packer's Fuel and Ralph Packer in Vineyard Haven.
