Today was to include a public sail and community day on the waterfront.... The Buzzards Bay Light data below for the course of the day shows the peaking wind at 42 knots at 10 am with the wind shifting to the NW with frontal passage at 6pm. Please also notice the barometer reading and the sudden increase with the frontal passage. Strong winds and steady rain led to a cancellation of all activities for the day.
