Date: 07-08-03
Time: 1510 PM
Latitude: 41 28.11
Longitude: 070 56.9
Position Description: Buzzards Bay
Weather Conditions: Hazy, patchy fog.  Sunny, hot, winds light SW.  Pressure falling
24 Hour Plan: We plan on anchoring off Padanaram tonight.  Maybe dory rowing, but at least swim call tonight.  Will return to State Pier tomorrow at 1300 hrs.

Number Students Aboard: 24
Staff Aboard: 12
Total Aboard: 36

We had a radar watch on all morning since it was socked in I for sure!  We anchored in Tarpaulin Cove last night and had a swim call.  No dory rowing this morning because it was too foggy.  Today we went around Cuttyhunk Island with fog and 2' swells that put some aboard under the weather, but now we are sailing off the wind, there is little swell, and it is once again HOT!!

We would like to thank Lotus and IBM for donation of software, hardware and funding to enable regular electronic updates from the ship.
