With
a steel drum, standup bass and drums up forward and great food
provided by a caterer midships, we set sail for the evening
out into the fog. What an absolutely enjoyable sail!
The foresail drove the ship
ghosting along in gathering fog. The fog grew thick by Butlers
Flat. Ernestina was passed by the departing schooner Alabama
before we turned back toward the dock in gathering dusk.
